Hi, my name is Mike. I’ve worked in the industry for over 25 years, with experience ranging from major corporations to smaller companies. However, nothing I’ve been a part of feels quite like Pinnacle. Being privately owned, we avoid the unnecessary procedures that often bog down larger companies, and there’s no constant threat of mergers or stock price fluctuations affecting our jobs.
The quality of our buildings continues to amaze me, and I believe a key factor is our unique workflow. In the office, our estimators have direct conversations with customers to define the custom building they want. This same person then models the building for pricing, creates the contract, and manages project questions between engineering and the customer as it progresses through our system. The program work done upfront is directly used by engineers and drafters, eliminating the need for each department to relearn and reenter building parameters. This streamlined process minimizes errors and enhances efficiency.
Most importantly, our owner generously supports local and global community efforts through informed donations. When I go home in the evening, I feel proud knowing that the work I’ve done is making a positive impact on the world.

For over 20 years, we have provided all types of high quality pre-engineered metal buildings all over the United States. We are currently seeking experienced AutoCAD detailers. We offer competitive pay (based on experience) and benefits. Ideal candidates will be team oriented, motivated, well organized and dependable with a strong work ethic and superb attention to detail. Some relocation expenses may be reimbursed for the right candidate.
Requirements:
- Experience with AutoCAD is required (qualified candidates will be required to take an AutoCAD test).
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with MBS software is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to read blueprints is required.
- Associates degree in CAD or equivalent work experience required.
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing shop drawings for factory welded, press broke and roll formed parts using AutoCAD.
- Preparing building erection drawings using AutoCAD.
- Preparing Bill of Materials using Excel.
